This weather is the worst. I know I gripe about the snice (snow/ice mix) we get here but it's a lot easier to warm up than cool off. I think I'm going to turn into one of those homicidal types that goes insane in August.

Hmmmm...Criticize Israel and not be accused of Anti-Semitic? You're asking the wrong girl. Whenever I criticize Israel, I'm called a, "Self-Hating" Jewess.

I still have yet to render a verdict on the skirmish between Lebanon and Israel, though. Enable Hezbollah by voting them into power; you reap what you sow in life. I keep asking the question: Why is it a massacre when Israel is on the offensive? Everyone else would just be considered to be protecting their borders. The Palestinians continue to step on their own dicks by empowering recognized terrorist organizations. Don't cry foul to me and whine that the UN is not helping when you elect representatives of the very agency the UN condemns.

Just something to think about.

Don't build your fortresses among the children, don't vote for those who do.

Caveat Emptor.

I guess I have a position, after all.

What kind of anti-semite liberal moonbat has a problem with blowing up arab children?

Seriously, though- Israel doesn't actually TARGET civilians, Hezbollah does. Israel dosen't use civilians as human shields, Hezbollah does. It's pretty obvious to me who the bad guys are.

No. We are the worst offenders. Aside from British Imperialists, of course.

It's been hotter than hell in Toronto. Yesterday it was about 44 degrees C downtown. Add the smog and the heat from A/C units what do you get?
Tempers flaring and people dropping. We have used more electricity than ever before. Hard to imagine.
My spin on the situation: both are equally guilty in this mess. The two kids in the sandbox (no pun intented) cannot play with the same toys.
So they better get along or else. Everybody is tried of this ongoing bloodbath that occurs everyday.

Well folks you best get used to the heat! Its global warming attributed to all that flag burning in the middle east.

British Imperialist's indeed .... tut tut. I resemble that remark. Now where did I leave my blunderbuss and monocle? I have natives to subdue!

Howard...

It's not *supposed* to be hot in Toronto! I suppose that is one good thing about being assigned to night duty right now, though.

I am weary from the heat and the war(s). I just wish there was some actual way to make in-roads. It doesn't appear that way at this point in time though. Grrrrrr.

Hope your birthday was enjoyable in spite of having to work.

Very witty! Flag burning in the Middle East. I wonder which country it is today? I understand that Denmark is sooooo passé.

Aaaah...the mystery of Emory unfolds a little more. So...you have an English accent and a blunderbuss? You are aware of my fascination with both, aren't you?

The hot weather brings all the crazy and so called "normal" people out. Working the night shift in a downtown area is like watching tv. Who needs tv!!
If you see what I see during the weekdays and especially on the weekends, you would have some good stories to tell.
Thanks Marnie, I did have a good birthday. We went out for dinner and had a great time on my days off.

Howard...

I think you need to start blogging about the things you encounter at work. I love just love people watching and I bet you have some amazing stories to share. =)

Glad to hear your birthday went so well. You deserve a special day.
