The Local - Sweden's News in English

The Local, an invaluable resource on Sweden for expats, citizens and displaced Swedes (or displaced Swede wanna-bes), has under gone quite a growth spurt last night. The staff has added many exciting, new features to their website including a larger help-wanted section, weather, a travel section and some lovely pictures of Mother Sweden.

For those of you who do not visit The Local, might I suggest taking a quick gander at the website? The articles are exceptionally well written, covering everything from topical, current events to oddities within Swedish culture and daily life. And...thanks to extensive troll extermination, the forum has returned to its former glory of witty debate and playful banter.
