Ok...what a way to start a vacation!

Hot off the presses from the folks at MSNBC...the Enron verdict.

Sociopaths, Ken Lay and Jeff Skilling have been found guilty. While there is no possible way to compensate those who have suffered extreme losses at the hands of these two megalomaniacs, I hope those who have lost the fruits of their labour can sleep better tonight.

There should be no sympathy for these men. None. Zero. Zip. Zilch. Greed is not good. Greed is evil. These men are monuments to amoral, sociopathic behaviour. Not only do I hope they rot in prison for an eternity (ok...15 to 25 years), but I hope they burn in hell. Along with the rest of Corporate America who feel that laws, morality and ethics do not apply to them.

It is a major victory for the average bear. A wonderful, much needed victory for those who are abused by power mongers.

You can take away pensions, you can reduce benefits, you can lengthen working hours, you can downsize/right-size...but you can no longer hide from the law.
