Man Hands

I woke up yesterday morning with a throbbing in my right middle finger. I didn't pay much attention to it until much later in the day when the throbbing increased with a vengeance.

Today...the throbbing has morphed into edema. My right middle finger has swollen to double its size. It's a nice shade of red, as well. After a bit of encouragement, the finger will bend. It is not very interested in typing, using a pen or holding a fork/knife though. I took the finger to our nurse for an exam. It's jammed.

The nurse suggested I remove the ring on rmf. That...I cannot do. It is a gift from the Mag and I have only removed it one time since I received it (for an MRI). Besides, I'm not sure I can squeeze it over the swelling.

So...here I type, jammed finger and all. The scary thing is that I have no idea what I could have possibly done to it. Granted I was blind drunk on Saturday night...but I think I would recall slamming my finger against something.

I have a man finger on lady's hands. A swollen, red finger to match the whorish-red nail polish on my talons. I'm a pretty girl.

I guess you've tried ice, huh?
How is it today? Swelling gone down a bit?

It's getting much better now. Thank you for asking. My finger appreciates it. :)
