I am afraid.

My lovely Ericsson mobile phone has been very, very naughty as of late. Either it is very mad at me or wishes to retire. Since it has been temperamental, unreliable and driving Dock bat-shit crazy, I decided it was time for a replacement. Sadly...I did not care for any of the available, Ericsson models. For the first time in four years (and three phones), I have had to switch manufacturers. It goes without saying...I do not care for change.

So here I sit, at my desk at work, staring at my new toy. The fancy-dancy Motorola RAZR (silver as the pink was a little too ghetto for my tastes). I have absolutely no idea how it works. I hate it. I really do. Then again, I hated my last phone for a month or so when I first got it.

Compounding my angst is this blue-tooth shit that completely mystifies me. I have a, presumably, "hip" phone and all of the latest bells & whistles people call peripherals. I have no idea how any of this works.

Do they not make mobile devices which serve one purpose and one purpose only...calling people? Do we really need a portable video recorder? I have an iPod, so I do not need an mp3 player. I really do not care for being accessible, so Crackberries are of no interest to me either. I just want a phone. A phone that will not drop calls in mid-conversation.

Grrrrrrrrr.

All of this "drama" over a device I resent.
